For tough stains or burnt-on residues, fill the pot with a mixture of baking soda and water and gently simmer for about 15-20 minutes. This should loosen up the residue, making it easier to clean.

Temperature Changes: Le Creuset cookware is designed to withstand various cooking temperatures; however, avoid subjecting it to abrupt temperature changes. For example, never take a hot pot and put it directly into cold water or onto a cold surface as this could cause thermal shock and lead to cracking or loss of enamel.

Cooking Utensils: To prevent scratching the enamel surface, use silicone, wooden, or heat-resistant plastic tools. Avoid using sharp instruments or electric hand mixers and blenders directly in the pots.

Lid Storage: Store lids upright or separately if possible. If you need to store the cookware with the lid on, place a cloth or a paper towel between the pot and the lid to allow air to circulate and prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to mold or rust.

Handling: Le Creuset cast iron pieces are quite heavy. Always lift the pot with both hands to prevent dropping or chipping.
